Adolescent Services

New England Medical Group has partnered with AVIV Life to produce adolescent day treatment services.

Utilizing experiential therapy and animal assisted treatment, participants are given the tools to manage their symptoms as they progress toward functional independence and emotional maturity.

High School Partial Hospitalization Program

Operating from 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, PHP is a level of care for those whose symptoms do not require full inpatient hospitalization but are struggling with attending school and performing daily tasks. This program can provide a high level of support to encourage healthy coping skills, emotional regulation skills, goals setting, and self-advocacy. All groups are experiential and involve participants through embodied therapies.

High School Intensive Outpatient Program

IOP is a step down from PHP or a step up from community-based therapy or group options. This level of care provides an increased level of support for those whose symptoms can't yet be managed at lower levels of care.

Middle School Intensive Outpatient Program

Middle School Program participants must be in middle school (Grades 6-8) to attend. This program assists participants as they manage mental health symptoms and navigate the developmental challenges inherent with this age. The focus is on developing strong interpersonal skills and establishing healthy boundaries to illicit symptom reduction. All groups are experiential and involve participants through embodied therapies.
