We are increasing access to integrative mental health treatment.
At New England Medical Group, our partial hospital program is designed for those who need intensive treatment outside of a 24/7 inpatient setting. Our medical, psychiatric, and clinical team work closely to develop a treatment plan on a case-by-case basis.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our program allows you to receive treatment while still maintaining an active and independent lifestyle at school, work, or in the community at large. Our goal is to help you get back to living your life as quickly and productively as possible.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program meets from 9:30 am - 4pm Monday - Friday. PHP provides a structured treatment plan for clients who need support during the week while still returning home at night. The treatment approach introduces CBT, DBT Skills, motivational interviewing, and enhancement.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is an ideal support for those who work or have family obligations. IOP gives clients the added support they need while being able to address day-to-day responsibilities in their life.
IOP consists of IOP 5, which meets from Monday to Friday from 9 am - 12:30 pm or 12:30 to 4 pm and IOP 3, which meets three days or afternoons a week.
NEMG has evening options for individuals who are unable to attend treatment during normal business hours. For working professionals or students who are busy during the day but struggle from mental health and co-occurring disorders, this program is a perfect fit. Patients are able to get the same clinical benefits from daytime IOP but are able to attend around their work/life schedule. This program runs Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays and is available both in-person and virtually.
Spravato is the first nasal spray medication specifically for adults with treatment resistant depression. If you have tried two or more antidepressants and are still struggling with depressive disorder, we can help.
Spravato is taken with an oral antidepressant. You self-administer a nasal spray under the supervision of a healthcare provider. Typically, patients see a greater reduction of depressive disorder at 4 weeks. After self-administering Spravato, a healthcare provider will monitor you for at least 2 hours during the observation period for possible side effects, inluding feeling sleepy or disconnected from your thoughts, feelings and things around you, and increased blood pressure. You will need transportation to and from your appointments as you cannot drive after Spravato Therapy.
Every patient will begin treatment with a full psychiatric evaluation to discuss their symptom history and previous diagnosis and other factors that led them to seek treatment.
NEMG providers evaluate those suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar, and other psychiatric diagnosis. Inital evaluations typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour. During this time, the client will meet with their provider and dive deep into their history and any prevous diagnosis they may have. They will also discuss any previous medications they have been prescribed and the effect that those medications had. These conversations help the provider develop a treatment plan individualized for each client. The provider will also prescribe new medications if needed.
Our psychiatriac team is able to prescribe medications for mental health conditions and can also prescribe medication-assisted treatment for SUD.
Our psychiatric team is able to prescribe medications for conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADD/ADHD, and other mental health conditions. Providers are able to prescribe medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorder, including naltrexone/Vivitrol, Suboxone/sublocade, and Antabuse/Campril.
