Outpatient Addiction Recovery on the South Shore

New England Medical Group's addiction treatment programs at Suite 102 in Norwell bring evidence-based, non-stigmatizing care for substance use disorder directly to the South Shore. Located off Route 3, minutes from Hingham and accessible from communities across Plymouth County, our outpatient model means you can pursue recovery without walking away from your home, family, or responsibilities.

We treat addiction the way it deserves to be treated: as a complex medical condition requiring a comprehensive, multidisciplinary response.

Our Suite 102 team works in close coordination with our mental health team in Suite 101 to address co-occurring conditions simultaneously.

Addiction Treatment Programs
at Our Norwell Location

Full Day Treatment (PHP)

Our most intensive outpatient program provides a highly structured environment without the overnight stay.
Designed for adults stepping down from detox or inpatient care, or those who need maximum clinical support while living at home.

  • Daily group therapy sessions
  • Individual counseling with licensed SUD clinicians
  • Psychiatric evaluation included
  • Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) integration
  • Family coordination and education sessions
  • Case management and community resource navigation
  • CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
  • 2-Step integration available

Half Day Treatment (IOP)

Morning or afternoon sessions, 3 to 5 days per week, for adults who need intensive SUD support but cannot step away from daily life completely. IOP can serve as a standalone program or step-down from PHP.

  • Psychiatric monitoring and MAT support
  • Family programming available

Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Our addiction psychiatry team provides comprehensive evaluations and manages MAT as part of your individualized treatment plan. MAT has strong evidence for improving outcomes in opioid and alcohol use disorder.

  • Full addiction psychiatric evaluation
  • Suboxone / buprenorphine management
  • Oral naltrexone management
  • Ongoing medication monitoring
  • Available integrated into PHP and IOP, or standalone

Dual Diagnosis: Addiction and Co-Occurring Mental Health

Many people enter addiction treatment with underlying mental health conditions that have never been fully addressed.
